Our Attorneys

R. Val Rigodon is a 2022 alum of CUNY School of Law, one of the top public interest schools in the country. She was a Pro Bono Scholar and was admitted to the New York Bar in June 2022. After graduating, Val clerked in the New Jersey Appellate Division, and completed a two-year litigation fellowship with Everytown Law, an organization that fights against gun violence. In 2023, she won a Burton Award for Distinguished Legal Writing for her law review note entitled Death by a Thousand Duck bites in a No-Man’s Land: Navigating Section 230’s Scope and Impact in a Changing Internet and World. Val’s practice concentrates on Matrimonial and Family Law. She uses her public interest training to provide a compassionate, trauma-informed experience for clients.
