Overview

Rebecca is an Associate Attorney at Mack and Mikullitz, P.C., where she represents individuals in complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and intimate partner violence proceedings. She is committed to providing clients with thoughtful, strategic, and compassionate legal representation during some of the most challenging periods of their lives.

Rebecca approaches each matter with a focus on practical problem solving, clear communication, and achieving outcomes that protect her clients’ goals and the well-being of their families. She believes that her clients are best positioned to determine what is right for their children and/or families and works diligently to help them reach safe, appropriate, and cost-effective resolutions.

Rebecca’s commitment to effective dispute resolution also led her to complete mediation training through the New York Peace Institute in Brooklyn, New York. This training further enhances her ability to navigate high conflict matters and pursue constructive solutions when appropriate.

Prior to joining Mack and Mikullitz, P.C., Rebecca practiced at a respected local law firm, where she focused on complex divorce, custody, and support matters. She has also served as an Attorney for Children through the Appellate Division, Third Department’s Assigned Counsel Program, where she advocated for children involved in custody, divorce, and family offense proceedings in Albany County Family Court and Supreme Court.

Before entering the legal profession, Rebecca worked in higher education as a Student Affairs professional addressing issues including campus sexual assault. Her experience in that role inspired her transition into the practice of law and continues to shape her compassionate and client-centered approach to advocacy.

Rebecca was selected to the 2023 and 2024 Upstate New York Rising Stars list, an honor awarded to fewer than 2.5% of attorneys in the state. In 2021, she received The Legal Project’s Brigid Nolan Memorial Award for Pro Bono Service to Victims of Domestic Violence.
